Leads for my opinion peice

So, these are different types of leads for my opinion peice which is about how making recorded music free to the public will actualy help artists thrive PLEASE CHOOSE WHICH ONE WOULD MAKE YOU WANT TO KEEP READING THE MOST :) THANKS :) -Soph

Descriptive:
Imagine the average hacker. Sitting in a dark room in the early hours of the morning with the window cracked opened and a slight breeze blowing through rustling the papers on their desk. They are working hard and long to illegally download the new hit songs. Maybe because they have nothing else to do, or they are attempting to preform a community service for others, yet either way they are disrupting the hours of hard work that was put into “securing” that song so that it could not be taken for free. Although it may sound slightly insane, the easiest and most effective fix to this problem is making the recorded track free in the first place.

Contrast and Compare:
In the Early 1960’s when the first real music program was written by max Mathews, it was all about the music and how great it was to get it online. However, recently it is no longer about the joy of listening to recorded tracks online, but how fast and free one can download it.

Twist :
Its finally Friday after a long hard week, and your favorite artists new album is coming out today! You rush home to get the album online because you consider your self to be a true lover of music for only the joy of listening. Although we wish this were true, unfortunately few people actual feel this was. Recently downloading music has been purely about how to get it fast and free.

  3. I really liked your compare and contrast arcticle. It is precise and to the point and I thought it made a good point to get people seeing what music used to be all about.

  4. I liked the compare and contrast the best too :) But I also thought that the descriptive one was really good. They both tell the reader what you're writing about and draw them in. You did a really good job of that in both these leads!

  5. Contarst and Compare is the best and sounds like it culd actually be in a professional magazine. The first and second was a bit cheesy. But on the descriptive one, it got better and better as you read it.
